BKC Wallet browser extension · Effective 23 September 2026

These terms govern your use of the BKC Wallet browser extension ("the extension"), published by BKC Network ("we", "us"). By installing or using the extension you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the extension.

1. What the extension is

The extension is non-custodial software. It generates and stores cryptographic keys on your device and signs transactions that you approve. We never hold your keys, your funds, or the ability to move them. We cannot freeze an account, reverse a transaction, recover a lost recovery phrase, or restore access to a wallet.

The extension is a tool for interacting with a public blockchain. We do not take custody of assets, act as a broker, exchange or money transmitter, and provide no financial, investment, legal or tax advice.

Test network. The extension currently connects to the BKC test network. Tokens on a test network have no monetary value, and the network may be reset, replaced or discontinued without notice.

2. Your responsibilities

3. Networks, applications and tokens operated by others

The extension communicates with blockchain nodes, and with web applications, tokens and smart contracts created and operated by third parties. Their availability, correctness, security and conduct are not under our control and are not our responsibility. Displaying a token, a contract or an application in the interface is not an endorsement of it, and adding a custom network or token contract is done at your own risk.

4. Licence and origin

The extension is distributed under the MIT licence. Third-party components retain their own licences and copyright notices, which are included with the software. Your use of the software is governed by those licences together with these terms; where they conflict on the subject of the software itself, the applicable software licence prevails.

5. Disclaimer of warranties

The extension is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the extension will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure against every attack, or compatible with any particular network, application or device.

6. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss of funds, loss of keys or recovery phrases, loss of data, loss of profits, or any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with the extension or its use, whether based in contract, tort, strict liability or any other theory, and whether or not we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

7. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable legal fees, brought by a third party and arising out of your use of the extension or your breach of these terms.

8. Changes to these terms

Revised terms are published at this address with a new effective date. Continuing to use the extension after they are published constitutes acceptance. If you do not accept the revised terms, uninstall the extension; your keys remain yours and can be restored elsewhere from your recovery phrase.
