A blockchain built for the post-quantum era
BKC is a Cosmos SDK network whose accounts are ML-DSA-65 keys, the lattice signature scheme standardised as FIPS 204. An EVM runs over the same accounts, so Solidity contracts execute on a chain that holds no elliptic-curve keys at all.
Overview
Conventional blockchains rest on elliptic-curve signatures, which a sufficiently capable quantum computer would break. BKC replaces the signature scheme itself rather than adding a layer on top of it.
- Post-quantum accounts. Every account signs with ML-DSA-65, the lattice-based scheme standardised as FIPS 204.
- EVM compatibility. Solidity contracts deploy and run as they do elsewhere, and return the Ethereum transaction hashes, receipts and event logs that existing tooling expects.
- One account, both address formats. A single account is addressed
either as
bkc1…or as0x…; they are the same account rather than a linked pair.
Building on BKC
Applications written against ethers keep working: the client library accepts an ethers contract call and routes it through the Cosmos signing path underneath.
Start with @bkc-network-lib/sdk, which bundles the provider, the signer and the chain's codec behind a single import.
